We will learn freezer paper stenciling, and use stamping, painting and markers to create a unique journal cover you can use for years. Learn how fun and versatile cork fabric is while making this fun and useful project. Perfect for journaling, pet records (my dog Stitch’s book is shown) daily to-do lists and much, much more! Journal is included. Simple final sewing can be done outside of class.

Supply list: Paper scissors, x-acto knife, fine tip black sharpie, small rotary cutting mat, wear apron or old clothes optional: fabric for inside pockets (no sewing in class) personal rubber stamps, permanent pens.

Starting with quilted fabric this bag goes together so quickly you should be able to finish it in class, then throw it over your shoulder and use it to carry your supplies back home!

Supply List: 2 yards QUILTED fabric (min 42” wide, purchase quilted fabric or quilt your own), 2/3 yard complimentary fabric for binding, 8” of ¾” or 1” wide Velcro, Straight pins, Fabric Scissors large (to cut quilted fabric), Fabric marking pencil (to mark quilted fabric),Thread spool and bobbin to match each side of quilted fabric and binding fabric, Size 90/14 or 100/16 sewing machine needles, Rotary Cutter & Rotary Ruler (6 ½” x 24 ½” works well), 18”x 24” rotary mat
